First download the Messenger then add the user's name you want to chat with then double click on the user name to chat and then start typing...

simply go to the yahoo chat rooms on this website,
or download the yahoo messenger and then invite your friends to chat with you or find new friends and add them to your contact list,and then,when someone of them is online you can start chatting with them by saying : hi or hello can we chat ?
