Can anyone remember back to a TV program on the BBC in the early 70's introduced by Peter Allis called "Pro Celebrity Golf" I know one of the celebrities was Seve Ballesteros, but what I want to know is who was the other celebrity??

I'm sorry not only has the years fuddled my brain but also my abilty to write a question - Hibee and Adie are both right, Seve was the Pro and it is the name of the other Pro that I'm after

I suspect Seve was a pro, rather than a celebrity.

There were many celebrities and many pros. It's hard to pin down who it might have been.

P.S. Not sure if Seve was playing in the early 70s!

Wouldn't Seve qualify as the "Pro" part of the programme at the time? Lee Trevino was alsways great on the show if my memory isn't playing tricks on me

I can just remember the show as I lifted my head above the blanket of my cot. Believe Jimmy Tarbuck was on it and maybe Ronnie Corbett but I'd be only a few months old.

Hope his has helped.
