It is doubtful that it would combine. carbon bonds with relatively few atoms. (H, Cl, F, Br, I, N, S, O, and a few others)CuSO4 is a fairly stable compound and would have no reason to bond with a hydrocarbon.

Copper sulfate pentahydrate doesn't react with gasoline. It's a complex salt that probably wouldn't dissolve in nonpolar hydrocarbon solvents.

Most likely scenario: you add it to gasoline and it sinks to the bottom.
