dont worry, forget limewire. try metacrawler.com, actually its a search engine, but u will surely get any song u want for free, hav fun

The only way to download free music these days is 'Illegally' from p2p clients such as Ares and Limewire or BitTorrent Clients - But I seriously wouldn't recommend it, if you really love the songs, You'd want to give something back to the person who wrote them by buying the albums.
