Yeah, it kinda does. Maybe that might be where the people who coined the phrase came up with the idea. It does seem kind of high school.

Its interesting how you see the term Neocon befitting a video game title. After all, Neocon foreign policy does seem to be governed by the same simplistic rules that govern video games. In most video games, especially first person shooters (Call of Duty and Medal of Honor), there is no consideration for the morals or ethics of your action, you merely have to shoot indiscriminately in order to attain your objective. In games that try to be realistic, you might get penalized for hitting civilians, but those consequences are usually trivial. Likewise, in real life, Neocon military strategy trivializes civilian life. In many first person shooter games the value of your fellow soldiers’ lives are also treated with little respect. Similarly, in combat situations, the loss of soldiers is treated by Neocon administrations, such as this one, with little regard. Finally, the higher the kill ratio one achieves in a video game, the greater the rewards are for that individual. In the minds of Neocons, “winning” a war is equated with the number of combatant deaths, not necessarily with restoring peace and stability.

I could go on ad nauseam with the number of striking parallels that exist between Neocon philosophy, and video games. It’s sad when a serious political contender, especially one that has majority control over all three branches of government, has cartoon like policies and platforms that are akin to arcade games. Of course what do you expect in a country who elects a President more on how personable and macho he seems to be, as opposed to his competency level and intellectual acumen. Juvenile expectations in the electorate result in the election of individuals with simplistic aims.

A game that even morons can play, all you have to do is read some of their answers and even worse some of their questions to know that they are not all there. I am sure that many of them do not have a full deck to play with.
