I know he just wants to invite me to another fund raiser. When is enough, enough? I know I can jack him up for a LImo (maybe even a jet) Then I will have to sit there with my "I love you Al" smile on my face knowing that I was a contributor to global warming simply by showing up. What should I do?

Well if you feel strongly against the actions - then you shouldn't go.
Why would you even be considering it if you feel that "knowing that I was a contributor to gobal warming simply by showing up" seems like you just go to play the part - but why not try playing the part of TRUTH if you don't feel strongly about the organization or the event why go what would the point in that be??
