i am in an relation with an guy.we love each other.the problem is he dont say "I LOVE U".he says u knw i love u then why should i say.But i want to listen this from him everytime.I FEEL SECURED WEN HE SAYS THIS.BUT HE DOESNT UNDERSTAND.i am not able to convince him

When he says "I love you", (if he ever does), listen to the way he says it. Is it an "I don't want you to bother me "I love you", so I will say it just to make you happy?" or is it a heartfelt "I love you"? Look into his eyes as well when he says it. When he says, "You know I love you then why should I say it?", listen to how he is saying that. If he sounds annoyed or like he is trying to convince himself, then you'll know he really doesn't love you and he just says it once in a while to make you happy, so you leave him alone about it. If this is what's going on, then I suggest you find someone else who will really love you and isn't afraid or ashamed to say it. My man and I say "I love you" at least 10 times a day and we have been for nearly 3 years. We are as in love with each other as we were from day one. You deserve someone who will love you better. You can't make someone say those words if they don't really feel it. Best of luck!

Hi Janvi, just tell me if he has a secure future i mean sound and secure ways to meet his ends if yes then there must be something in his mind...... like if he has an image in his mind or he might still be looking for a better looking girl. I dont mean to upset you or make you feel worried but its just that i somehow correlated my self with your BF.

That sounds a little shady IMO. If he loves you, there should be no trouble saying it. Guys will usually say those words even when they dont mean it, so the fact that he's evading the issues seems a little strange to me. Does he do that even when you're in private? I'm sorry something just doesnt seem right... be careful

Bit strange, but then again men are!
My boyfriend freaked out when I first told him, but I just let him get around to the idea of hearing it and before I know it he was confessing his love for me too!
I wouldn't go as far to say that he doesn't love you but maybe he just doesn't quite understand how to tell you without it being cheesy/cliche, some blokes are too macho and worry what their mates would say.
Leave the subject alone for a bit see if he comes around by himself (you never know he might just slip up and say it) but if it stays the same tell him how you feel because everyone has the right to be told they are loved.
MAYBE SAY: 'how am I supposed to know you love me if you have never said it to me!!!???'

I doesn't sound right to "make him say i love u." What you really need to do is tell exactly what you just told half the computer owning world.
Tell him, "
But here's the thing: If he loves you, he should want to make you feel as good as possible when he says it. Every guy should want as much credit as possible for being devoted to a girl. If he's not willing to whisper that in your ear from time to time just to make your soul tingle, then I wonder whether or not he really feels that way.

You cant make some one say they love you. It will come from his heart when hes ready, if you push with your insecurities you will lose him.
Some men cant say those three words they show it instead. You should be able to feel his love, by the way he looks at you, what he does for you and how he treats you.Next time he says it say I know you love me, as i feel it, tho it would be nice to hear the words some time. Leave it at that.

well,you cannot force anyone to say those 3 words,it has to come naturally or else it carries no value.......
couple of things you can do:
stop asking for it and even you stop saying it to him!!
or
say it even more than befor eand tell him that u want him to know that so that if something has to happen to you next min you wont regret not saying it!!
or
the best of all would be talk to him and tell him how miserable and unloved you feel when he doesnt say it to you,make him understand that its keeping u unhappy and m sure if he truly loves u he'll not let such small thing bother your relationship so much and will start saying it!!

If he's not comfortable telling you in words that should not matter to you, because in the end words mean so little. It is the actions that show if he really loves you. He will say it in his own time.

Actions speak louder than words. If he shows that he loves you by acting it out, it's better than him saying it. I mean you'd rather have someone who actually does love you physically and meantally rather than saying the 3 words and not mean it.

You can't make someone say I love you. It has to be volunteered or it carries no weight.
If you truly need to hear this to find security ya need to get to steppin'.
Why won't he say it? Not sure if he is just weird or you are for trying to make him say it.
