When my husband went into Marine Corp boot camp back in the 1970s, they often divided the guys into eating categories -
those who needed to lose weight were not allowed to eat anything yellow or anything white.
those who needed to gain weight were given primarily yellow and white foods.
and of course the others could eat it all.
But you might start there for a guideline. Think about all the foods that are yellow or white - potato salad, mashed potatoes and cream gravy, corn, grits, most snack chips, most things you dip them in, cream cheese, mayonnaise, eggs, hashbrowns - you get the picture.
I know that when I have an extra pound or two to drop, cutting those things out works like magic. Stands to reason it would work the other way around, huh?
Good luck with that!

If you really want to gain weight, eat dinner as late as you can, over stuff your self at every meal.Go to Mc Donalds everyday and drink a lg shake, and drink about a gallon of milk a day.Try to eat a potatoe a day and lots of pasta. When you do this, you better work out, or you will get fat. That's a lot of calories, and your body can not burn it all off.

You need to increase your intake of calories. One day eat 100 more than you are suppsoed to, the next day 200, etc. You should still excercise. Eat good fats. Good sugars (fruit). You may also want to have your thyroid checked out because it may be over active.

Eat more nutritious and calorie dense foods such as nuts, avocado, meat (protein), ect... If you are eating more calories than you burn, then seek medical advice. There are conditions which can cause this.
