I would like to know how my computer works. I am on it quite a bit but it runs so slow. I go into to delete some files and I am always afraid I will delete something that will mess it up.

If you want to take a class, check out tech colleges in your area. I know around here, they have classes for troubleshooting pc's.

If you just need a quick fix or something really specific, try some of the online forums. I use helponthe.net all of the time, and I have experience with computer repairs. Sometimes, there are things that happen that a class won't teach you.

Recommend that you get a copy of a beginner PC book, such as "XP for Dummies". They are cheap and will walk you through using the PC step by step. For me at least, the "hands on" is better than a class.

If you prefer a class, check with your local high school (they offer computer classes as part of their adult education - cheaper than colleges), or local community or junior college.
