i went on many roller coasters with my friends but i am still soo afraid! i end up screaming and closing my eyes almost every tme

It's just fear. It's more dangerous to ride in the car to get to the park. Perhaps changing you mind to thinking that the fear is "excitement" would make it more bearable. Scream all you want, where else is that kind of release allowed? Some coasters are more violent than others and hurt to ride. You are justified in avoiding those. Coasters are meant to be scary and intimidating, don't feel bad for closing your eyes.

I'm not that afraid. I only had the "Fear" of roller coaster when I was little. Don't worry just keep you're eye's closed. Do what ever is comfortable for you. Put you're hands up in the air if you want to feel the air, close you're eyes if you feel the fear rush in you, or scream real loudly to get the fear out inside of you. =] That's what I think. Relieve you'reself. Try to think of ur dream.. or goal in life. If you feel scared.. maybe next time you will get through it. =]

roller coasters are alot of fun! i got alot of my friends on them. i got them on the batman in sixflags over texas, we did the texas giant and titan! it was fun. but while your going up it is a little scary so just close your eyes and before you know it you'll be going down screaming and laughing with your hands up.... it takes a while but you'll do it eventually. i was like that for 11 years because we didnt go often and i dint care if i did them or not. so just take a friend you trust and ride them . they will ensure you about it and after you can trust them even more.

i was always scared of them too
i hate them
when i got old enough a had a few drinks and went on them that made it a little easier to deal with - not too much alchohol though cause that will make u throw up on the ride

when you try that something happens it's call: ride fright, well i don't know but trust me roller coasters are scary, but you scream it's for fun not for scared!!!!

Just let it all out! Life it way too short to be fearful of machines, I used to be until I raised my hands up on the descent and just screamed, it's sweet.

start out little and move up. once u have a feeling that u dont care what happens to u like u dont have fear of anything start riding rides right away cuz its like ur fuel to ride rides w/o hesitation.

relax and breathe.. rollercoasters might look big and fast, but when you're on it, it's not that bad! it's actually fun! if you're scared, SCREAM! and open your eyes so you know what's coming up next!
