I read some time ago that if at a young age you ate certain foods would trigger a hormonal change in women and cause them to have facial hair when they get older. They said red meat (rare steak) was one of the foods, and I think there were others.

Hormone changes. I see lots of women with mustaches. The other day I saw one that was growing a chin beard. I know they can't help that the hair grows, but haven't they ever heard of waxing? I hope if I started to grow a mustache someone would be kind enough to tell me. Or hold me down and pluck it all out!

Hormones. Some girls entering puberty can develop some facial hair. It is also common in menopausal women. Some medications can also have an effect.

severe hair on a female's face is a hormone imbalance. although, merely having hair on your top lip, or interior the sideburn (or maybe on your chin) isn't. All women have hair on their top lip, the version (aka what an mind-blowing form of people call a moustache) is many times merely the female has darker hair. there is no longer anymore there than absolutely everyone else.. it merely exhibits up greater handy.
