You should be responsible and help keep your room clean. Then you'll probably be allowed privledges like having guests over. How would you feel if your mom never cleaned the house and the whole house looked like your room? Would you want your friends to come over or would you be embarassed? Be responsible for your space and then have fun with your friend.

Set a timer for 1 hour, turn on some music and go in there and clean. When the timer goes off look around and see how much you've accomplished, you'll be surprised. Then take a break for a little while and go back and do it one more time. Your room will be spotless and you and your friend will have a great time. After your room is clean, take 15 minutes at the end of each day to tidy up. You'll never have to spend a long time cleaning your room again!

Do what your mother told you to do...clean your room. As long as you are living in your parents house...you need to do what they say. If you do not like then oh well life goes on. When you become an adult and take care of yourself without the support from your parents then you can have your room/house as dirty as you want it to be but right now you are just a child and know no better. So get up and clean that room otherwise it looks like you won't have your friend spending the night.

Girl, I remember those dayz, I wanted to do something or have someone come over, and my grandmother would ask me "have you cleaned up your room"? I wouldn't even answer, I would just go upstairs and cry. But now I clean my room before she asks so all i have to say is "yes". So you should go clean up your room and to make it fun, have the radio or your favorite Cd playing it's makes cleanin your room so much fun and you get it done so much faster...Hope yall have fun at the sleepover!!!

Just clean the room! People are always have expectations when they come to others houses. If you really want her to come over than clean the room, trust me. Yesterday my room was HORRIBLE but I cleaned it in about 30 minutes. you should be just fine.

You should clean your room so your friend can come over, you don't want to be someone dirty that doesn't not clean their room (how in embarassing) Just clean it up, I f you don't like cleaning it then keep it clean!!!!!

Just clean it and get it over with. My mom told me once I couldn't go to a school function unless I picked up my room. But my dad came up and helped me! I have no idea why, maybe he felt bad or something...
