Waldo? i thought his name was wally...? maybe thats just here (southern africa). oh well. if you want to find a guy called waldo, read the book 'Story of an African Farm' by Olive Schreiner (pronounced 'shriner'). there's a guy called Waldo in there. he might not be the same one you're looking for, he doesn't wear glasses or a stripy shirt. anyhoo. and, just by the by- who's 'The Bunny'?

I heard he got put in the mental ward of some hospital. He went crazy always trying to find places to hide.When he finally ran out of places he didn't know how to survive out where everybody could see him. POOR WALDO.
