No, freedom doesn't suck, we can vote Bush out of office.
You have the freedom to write what you wrote and the Internet police won't be knocking on your door.

Are you saying we should have no problems because we have freedom. We will have problems with all of our elected officials and if we didn't we would live in a perfect world. Look out side of you self right now a ask the question is this really the best we as Americans can do. Are we only effective if we wage war. Was there another road to take that would have made our country more safe after 9/11. The answer is maybe. Just because we are in this War does not mean that we as Americans should stop using our freedom to voice critical opinions of our elected officials. I would hope that you will hold the next Presidents feet to the fire if you don't agree with his position. Our country was set up in this fashion of be critical to our elected officials. Please don't forget that they work for you, you pay there salary's, you vote for them. Get what you pay for and expect the very best like you would if they were working in you store at the register. Don't let them steal, don't let them come late, and when they do something wrong make sure it doesn't happen again. ACCOUNTABILITY that's what will make this county great again. Please be the solution and not the problem.

No head of a government makes all the decisions on their own. That is why there is a government. You can't please all the people all the time so said Winston Churchill and that is very true. Unfortunely anyone who is the position of governing a country has to make decisions that may be seen to be curtailing someone's freedom but how would you like to do that job? Very difficult I am sure. George Bush is very much a figurehead who takes all the credit and all the blame for many decisions which have an effect on the people of his country. You have to look at the positive things he has done also. I have said this before and I'll say it again - research and research again before asking such sweeping questions.

Money = Freedom.
Without money you are no more free then a serf toiling in a field (albeit a serf with slightly better prospects and nicer bathroom facilities).
If you have the privilege of being born to a middle class family or better then it may seem like you're enjoying "freedom", however all you need to do is look at what happened to the poor people in New Orleans to see that U.S freedom, and equal rights is a total facade.
Stop living in a fantasy and face up to the corrupt civilisation we are all apart of.
In ten generations will our children's children look upon us favourably? When we waste more, then most other countries consume? When we let people die so that we can drive SUV's? when we allow the clothes we wear to be manufactured by child slaves?
Freedom is a dream. Not a reality.

No offense meant, but GW did not "Create" our "FREEDOMS"
GW is being picked on because he happens to be 'In Power" at the moment, and is an easy target,,,no pun or suggestion intended. All LEADERS are given an impossible job, with very little to reference as successes can be defined.
With an ever increasing population, and choices being thrown at us, and out, will cause the balance to shift, from one party to another in time,,,as it will again. That said, there is no promise of "Better" the next time.
The fact that I didn't vote for GW, or his father, or his brother, doesn't mean I think I could do better. It does mean however, and History will record so,,,That I am not staisfied with his leadership. As a voting citizen, charged with not only expressing an opinion, but recording it, I have a right of "CHOICE" as do you.
No matter the percentage of those who vote in anyone, or by what margin they win, isn't a strict way to gague performance in their term, after the fact.

Bush is the cause of all your problems, right? RIGHT
I guess all this freedom sucks then, right? WRONG
You might as well say
X is the cause of all your problems, right? I guess all this Y sucks then, right?
and X and Y are opposites. Get a life. Bush is not freedom. He is a marauding oil thief who gets his army to rape innocents imprisoned on their own land for being landspeople
That;s freedom?

You bet it does. Sucks big time. I think we should all sit around and think nice thoughts about the people that want to kill us. Hey, they are people too. And if Bush is against them they must be REALLY good people. Let them all come here and we'll share a nice bottle of wine. Oops, they don't drink. Well, then we can split open a goat. What a BBQ!

What are you on about? Bush has walked all over the consitution. He'as allowed spyig on US citizens without a court order. He's created "freedom of speech zones". Bush is to freedom as lemon juice is to fresh milk.

You really are lost and confused. Any freedom we have cannot be attributed to Bush, and his war in Iraq will gain as much freedom as a win in Vietnam would have won. Do you know how much freedom was lost in that war? None. Do you know how much freedom will be gained or lost in the Iraqi war? None.
