Whenever a celebrity messes up whether it's drugsor alcohol they feel sorry for them make hundreds of excuses for them & wish them the best(in some extreme cases they will be in front of the courtroom demanding for their precious celebrity hero to be given a break) but meanwhile let it be one of their family members their neighbor or a friend they will sellout & turn against them telling them what horrible human beings they are for doing it and that they are the scum of the earth & won't help them at all. They show more compassion for a celebrity they don't even know than they do for a family member friend or neighbor.

These people get all upset when we call them celebrity worshiuppers but yet these are the same people who go around making fun of those who worship religion & read the bible. But yet they think it's ok to do that.(Not that i give a sh it for religion anyway just making a point)

celebs suck....not all of them just too much attention is paid to them and too much emphasis is put on looking like them...as a girl with some junk in the trunk i dont wanna be told i shud look like paris hilton cuz atleast im sexy :)

I definitley agree with you. People worship the ground that celebrities walk on and it's sickening. Celebrities can get away with almost anything, because they blame it on the fame. Brad Paisley wrote a song called "Celebrity." It's an awesome song, but it talks about how easy celebrities have it. I think it's awful that these people take their side just because they are wealthy. If an average person did some of these things, they would be ridiculed. It's kind of ironic eh?

I don't worship celebs cus they r ppl jus like us but famous & rich, but i do like many celebs, & don't take sides becsu they are famous or rich, but because I believe they are innocent, in some cases of course i believe they are gulity. But I don't think anyone should worship celbs, jus God or what ever theri religion is. I thin that if anyone did a crime they should pay with jail tiem not money. IMO. But i still love n look up 2 celbs tho thats fine.:))

ok here's my answer, i personally dont have anything against celebrities, but neither do i even care about what the hell is going on their lives. if i see them in court over drug abuse, the first thing that would probably flow through my mind is: 'way to go d u m b a s s, how the hell are you going to get back?'. i like reading magazines on whats happening with pop culture, but i dont worship them at all, all that crap i dont take, i like knowing whats going around, who went gay, who married who, but i dont care to 'care' about what happens to them.
in response to your answer, i agree with your point on people who worship 'celebr'ities', but notice, its usuallly little teens between their early 14's, opening their eyes, wishing to be as skinny as paris hilton, as popular as britney spears, but its all a particular way of life, its all an 'american' path some kids learn to follow and whether they grow up or not, at the end when real life hits them they realize, what the f u c k does my worries over tom cruise and his kid have to do with me when i have my own kids to worry about??!! so...think of it this way, people when they hit their senses, they learn to put it aside and not worship it, but listen to it like a normal human does.
