It sounds kind of cool, as long as both shirts have nice colors, and your not wearing like white on white or something. I think bright colors would look interesting with your idea, because turtlenecks and polos are typically associated with (kind of) boring wardrobes and professional-ish clothes.

Sounds ok, but I think a turtleneck under a long-sleeved shirt that you wear open would also be cute.
When I was younger, we wore vests over turtlenecks, also.

i think it will be okay as long as the turtleneck is fitted. i think just a long sleeve fitted shirt will do better.

for me, i do not like it.... it's much better if it is sleeveless turtleneck and do not wear the polo shirt...
