You will find out that you an only distinguish a true friend after you can look back at when they have stuck by you. Unfortunately, the rest is just risk-management.
Idea #1:
You can pay attention to how often a friend has pushed their ideas on you, their schedule, they dominate the conversation. If the answer here is that THEY often want to dominate, then you can be certain they are more concerned with themselves.
Idea #2:
How many friends have they left behind (or have left them)? If they have a lot of ex-friends, then you can be certain they are likely not a good friend to anybody.

See my friend true friend is very special. now the point is how to distinguish between true and other friends. when ur true friend is not around you, you will definitely feel alone even though the rest all are with you. you will have some special emotions towards that friend. you will never try to purposely hurt him/her. and there will be a different chemistry between your'll... bye...

The friends that will do just about anything for you and you do the same. The ones who are honest and you can count on them when your down or always comes to your rescue when your in a ditch. The ones you can't depend on or trust aren't your real friends... Just those that you like having around from time to time...
