If that doesn't help just try the bald thing if your like most men it will grow back soon anyway then you'll know by then if you want it longer or not. good luck

At least for the rest of the summer, I'd say keep it short and/or shave it off. I don't know about by you, but its been fairly boiling in the NYC area.
Though, for all the women reading this, if you can hold out til fall - long hair on women looks fantastic. (If not, I understand.. and will try to get by...)

Personally I think the only other person whose opinion matters on this is your wife. My husband use to have very long hair...I loved it. Then one day he came downstairs with a shaved head. Boy was I angry...it looked terrible. His head had never seen daylight and he is just too white to have his head shaved. He looked like he belonged to the KKK. As much as I love him...I would not talk to him for a couple of days.

Grow it past your shoulders and dye it black
Learn to play Speed Metal. Hire a lead guitarist who plays so fast the fretboard sets alight. Hire a drummer with arms like tree trunks. Hire a bassist with many, many psychological disorders. Call your band Batspank and show the world that Metal is King!!!

Grow it long, dye it, then if it looks cr@p you can shave it off. I don't think it'll work the other way around.

Let your hair grow only so long not past your neck for sure and then die it blue or green leave some of your natural color in there too

you should dye it first. if you hate it you can always shave it off. trust me, i shaved my head in april and even tho i looked good with no hair (THANK GOD) i miss my long hair. don't shave it if you aren't willing to be missing it for a long while

Don't shave it dude, not your look! Don't go back to your younger look either. I'd leave it, why fix something when it ain't broke.

Depends on what kind of looks you have! If your girly looking then shave it completely..if your rugged and handsome, grow it long..shoulder length or if your referring to other areas of your body..just wait for puberty to set in..Ha!
