I know several couples who practice DD (Domestic Discipline). Wouldn't be my scene, but it seems to work for them.

I find this topic fascinating. I never heard of it until I began looking at YA, and I've been into spanking erotica for quite some time. I'm convinced there has to be some sexual component in there somewhere for one if not both parties - thus making it foreplay not discipline. I would bet your domestic discipline end inex eventually, even if its hours later.
A man can not look at a woman's bare *** and not think sexual thoughts, no matter what he's doing to it. Same goes for teenage girls and southern fathers who spank them in the name of the bible - spanking teen-age girls on the bare is molestation in my eyes.
Don't get me wrong as a man who is into spanking I would love to meet a woman who is so used to getting spanked by her sadistic, possible perverted father, that she desires the same from her husband. But I think in the end I would wish her to seek therapy.
Spanking belongs in the bedroom with two consenting adults.

I think you have this all wrong I grew up with older parents. When I was in high school my parents were in their 60's and they were all about the old days when what the man says goes, but I had to grow up watching my mom not being able to voice her own opinion or sometimes want to say something and she couldn't. I am glad times have changed. The Lord says that the man is the head of the house but he meant to make sure everyone in the house is saved not to discipline them. No marriage would work with that kind of concept now, and I hope that's not how you are being treated in your marriage.
God Bless

Not just no, but HELL no! That's the kind of stuff you see on Montel. And I agree with the others. A woman would have to have some serious issues to "allow" someone to treat her that way. Do you get to discipline your husband when he does wrong, or does he just get to go do whatever the hell he wants with no consequences? It's not right...I don't care how good he is to you.

You're joking, right?
Does she also spank him when she determines his behavior is unacceptable?
Marriages didn't stay together because of a twisted notion-that the wife was not an adult and that the husband has some sort of authority over her.
They stayed together because divorce was regarded as scandalous and it was socially acceptable to remain together, regardless of how bad it was.
Respect is missing from your equation.

Unless you happen to fancy this sort of behaviour for love-play, this activity sounds demented. Actual discipline from your spouse is unacceptable. Adults do not require physical discipline from anyone, much less his or her equal.

Spanking is not a good idea , ho would have explained you or may be little shout is OK , not spanking , if you allow him now , later this will become habit and certainly he may try to harm you , better stop him now .

Spanking can be fun as sexual play but not as a form of discipline.

How old are you??? He's not your father, sound like that's his way of being kinky, and you are too naive to know it. Do you get to punish him when he's bad? I'd be checking up to see what kind of porn he's doing. He may be doing other things, like affairs!!
