There may not be. I just read an article that sperm taste can be effected by what the guy is eating, that goes for smiking as well. To test this try having hubby drink some, maybe a couple of glasses, of pinapple juice about an hour before...you know. According to the article you should noitice a difference and hubby's sperm should shake that sour taste.
Good Luck,
Tom

I would say he should go to the doctor to be on the safe side to make sure nothing is wrong with him. Ive been with my significant other for 4 years and hes always tasted the same and never has had an odor, If he is currently taking medication maybe that could be causing the problem but Im not a doctor this is just a guess..A doctor would know though

The taste of sperm has a lot to do with the mans diet. If he is not eating healthy it can affect the way his sperm tastes. Just to be safe though he might want to get checked out by the doctor.

It can taste like many different things depending on what your husband has been eating, if he has changed things in his diet, this could account for the sudden change. If it has a funny smell (other than the normal funny smell) it could mean he has an infection of some kind, does it have a weird color? He should go to the doctor if it has a weird color or if he has any pain.

The ejaculating sperm normally do not taste sour, only the smell of it must be specific. To taste sour it is abnormal and need to do the lab exam.

The taste is actually affected by what you eat. Citrus products will give a sour taste, etc. Tell him to eat a can of pineapple and you'll love the change.

Interesting. I would like to know how it is you isolate the sperm from the semen ejaculated so you can taste them. My wife would say that my SEMEN tasted a certain way rather than the little dudes swimming around in it. Could you post your separation technique?

He should get checked out by a doctor. Sperm really has no taste; rather bland, and salty-like (according to what I HEAR).

Sweet N' Sour Semen
Cookbook lets you make your own flavors...literally
Anyone who has eaten pineapple or asparagus knows that there is an immediate correlation between those foods and the odor/flavor of one's bodily fluids.
