I use a solar panel curtain..they sell them in your cheap little magazines.. that you get with all the junk in them.. they work really well. keep the heat out and the cold out during the winters also.. you can see through them looking out but no one can see in..
I like them alot then you don't have to close all the windows with shades or the heavy curtains, makes your house feel like a prison..
I order new every year so that they work properly so try them out when you see them little junk books. they do have something good in them every once in a while.
I hope you can find one .. they really do work well.. they are called solar curtains...

There is a reflective plastic material that installs like a decal to the glass that will greatly reduce the heat produced by u.v. light.
