If they have a legal permit for this, they should have a copy this permit posted. They should make the police aware of their permit.

NO, there is no way to cover it up. Having been a student in college during the wild years of the 1970s, it simply is not possible. Many people over the age of 30 are very familiar with the smell.

Of course, there is no such legal permit in the USA. Marijuana users are breaking the law. Over 700,000 will be arrested this year. Your friend is helping to make an illegal drug trade RICH. Let's hope that they are not funding terrorism.

Here is a link to a product especially formulated to get rid of tough organic odors and mentions mariquana smoke as well in it's effectiveness. See the link below. I've also added a second link for filters which can be fitted easily right into the housing ductwork or other installations.

Pure (essential) lemon oil ... not just lemon scented Pine Sol ...

Mix it in a spray bottle with water. A little bit goes a longggg way. It smells like a lemon cake baking in the oven ... it's wonderful. And it will cover ANY smell.

I get mine at "Nature's Inventory" store on eBay.

believe it or not coffee beans will cover up the smell. When your pt starts his medicineput a filter of fresh ground coffee beans in the same room with him, and I garuntee you won't smell the marijuana let alone the neighbors smelling it.

Never actually smoked it myself but you can try one of those "smoke-out" candles designed to remove cigarette, cigar and pet odors from the room. My best friend has 6 dogs, 2 ferrets and a multitude of other animals, plus everyone in their house smokes and those candles work *wonders* in that house!
