I'm trying to figure out why it's better on here during the day than in the evening and I have a feeling it's because Europe participates more in the morning. So hopefully this poll will help me come up with a conclusion.

I'm not from Europe. I'm from Australia.

I'm guessing the reason you get the quality answers/questions at midday Chicago time is because this is when most people are on the Internet.

For example if it is Monday 31 July 12:00 in Chicago
Then it will be:

Seattle - Monday 31 July 10:00
Berlin - Monday 31 July 19:00
Moscow - Monday 31 July 21:00

This means that the Western seaboard is (roughly) near morning tea, the Eastern seaboard have just had lunch, Europe and Africa are in the afternoon (a bit after dinner) and the Eastern Europe/Middle East are late afternoon (close to sleep).

Now since most people go on the Internet after dinner time and during a break from work, then you'll get a sizeable slice of those connected to the Internet going online at midday (Chicago time).

So, the more people you have on Yahoo Answers the more likely your going to get a good answer or read a good question.

And your timezone is?

Don't forget that although Polls are originally European, they have gone to many other countries as well, so it may not help you.
