Why do we let our frinds go out looking like cr*p?

Why dont we just tell them they look awful/laughable/weird? Have you ever been out with friends who look shameful????

Some times we do tell them. Other times we find it funny to laugh at them all night.

though usually if one of my friends is wearing something laughable or weird they know it, and they are doing it on purpose.

I know a lot of my neon clothes look bad to most people but I like them.

Now if they have some dirt on them or a hole or something I will tell them. I won't let them go out and not realize they got something on them sells until it is too late to change. That is just rude.

It would also be rude to let them go out looking bad when they are trying to look nice. Like if they are dressed up and there tie completely clashes with the shirt they have on. Let them know if the don't. if they like it that is fine but if they didn't know and you let them go out looking dumb you are a bad friend.

As for the people who think if there friends look bad that makes them look good. That is the dumbest thing I have ever herd. So you are telling if you where out and saw a group of two hot girls and a second group with one hot girl and one that looked all messed up. You would find the hot girl with the messed up looking friend better looking then the hot girl with the hot friend? No people judge you by your friends. If your friends are goofballs then they think you are too.

Well there is plenty of people that just don't care what they look like. I can't say that I am one of them... if I go out then I make sure that I look appropriate & there is always one of my friends that just isn't fitting into the scene. So to be nice you just suggest that maybe they want to look better because of the chance of meeting someone... you just have to think of some nice way to hint it off. But if you tell them straight out then it might just make them flip and you'd lose them for awhile. So I'd stick with the suggestion part.

I always tell my friendz if they look awful. That's what friendz r 4. What kind of a friend r u? How could u let u friend go out looking like cr*p?

I don't remember ever having thought any of my friends looking rubbish when they go out! However, I hope I would be honest if I thought they did look cr*p. Quite often, because we care for them we really don't want to hurt their feelings and reckon if they like it then it's fine for them to go out like that.

A couple of times. I even asked, but you get "I look good in this", so I just let it go at that.

I think we do it to spare their feelings, but it never turn out well because if they do figure out how awful they look, they reproach you for letting them go out looking silly.

If they're your close friends, yes I would tell them. I do. and I would expect them to tell me too.

Last weekend my husband went out with me and his friends.......and after I told him he should never wear that outfit in public again.......he proceeded to wear it, and take a load of sh*t from his buddies when we met them. I just sat there and smirked. Those clothes have now been retired.

I always tell my friends if there is something wrong. I would want them to do the same for me.
