When I was a teenager I got ten bucks every week, so, what, thats like $520 a year not including money gotten from birthday and Christmas.

It is doubtful if a teenager gets a salary. He/she would most likely be working minimum wage.

I did not give my son a salary..
I gave him money according to his needs.
Also for when he did his chores as asked.

If he did not do his chores, no money..
He turned out to be one great guy.

A child should not be given a salary..

You take minimal wages and multiply it by the hours you work a day, then by how many days you work a week, then by how many weeks you work in a month, and then multiply it by12 ...
