it could be normal it may not be normal you really need to see a doctor because when i was 38 weeks i had slight cramping and went and saw the midwife at the hospital found out my daughter had passed away so you can never be too sure, just speak to ur doctor seriously every pregnancy is different to another and every womans body is also different so its better safe than sorry.

How bad are the cramps? Some pain/cramps may be due to your uterus stretching. First, I'd pick up the book "What to expect when you're expecting" -- it answers all kinds of questions about what's 'normal' and what's not... then I'd call my dr. to double check.

It can be cut to be on the safe side go see your doctor. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids. I had that happen once and I was not drinking enough fluids once I did it stopped and everything was fine. However your docotr can do a urine test to see if that or something else is the problem. So please check with them.

Is they are unbearable then it's bad and you should go to the ER. If they are not so bad but bothersome it could be ligaments and the uterus stretching to accomidate for the growing baby. I wuld call the dr and talk to them about it. Better to be safe then sorry!
