Infact this question is a bit difficult. Some men does not respect women at all. As you were saying it is a very good thing, men take this opportunity to do the job more than women. They are not suspected if hunging around for that job. It is not good to grade it as normal it is a bad thing. Women benefit from it more than men so they should put it to a stop.

Well apparently it is the "oldest profession in the world", and yes you are right about male/female stereotypes and double standard-- it's OK for a guy to do it, but not a girl.
Since it happens in every city on Earth, I guess it's normal.. not necessarily healthy though!
