ive heard ppl complain about weather in the mid 90s..etc. im used to the heat. im used to 108+, and i have no central a/c (renovating house) so 90 degree weather is just fine to me. but on the other hand..i complain about the cold weather if it's lower than 60, i hate the cold.

so i was wondering....what IS hot to you. everyone has their own limit...so what's yours?

When I was in Iraq it was like 130, plus we were wearing body armor and kevlars and everything else with no AC. It was miserable. At nights, it 'cooled' to 100, and it felt nice and cool. Basically, the human body quickly adapts. The temperature difference, say between day and night, will make you feel cold or hot. The bigger the difference the worse affect it has on your body. Anyone can adapt to live in any climate, reasonably- it's called acclimating. It takes some time, but believe me, you can get use to anything.

I can tolerate up to the mid 90s in the middle of the day. Of course the heat index is usually 100+ at these times. I have to take a siesta on hot summer days.

Over 85 is hot, especially when the humidity is over 70%.

Cold is under 15 or if the wind chill makes it feel that cold.

I live in Minnesota and we get both extremes.
