i'm not into that myself. it's a little weird, but different strokes and all that. i don't see any problem with it so long as the animal isn't being forced into something. (there are consentual situations)

Well, I'm not going to outright condemn you for your interest. The human animal can have the strangest things get eroticized with the right conditioning. So, in that sense its not abnormal, but in the social, legal, and I think ethical/moral sense animal porn is very abnormal--much like kiddie porn, in my view, because the sexual object is not consenting. Remember that while watching it is not causing it, it is causing it to continue because you are feeding the market for that kind of stuff.
Frankly, I would be disturbed enough about this interest in animal porn to go see somebody for help. And your comment that one part of you is disturbed at this practice would suggest you agree. If it disturbs you its the fear that you may get addicted to it, or go further and engage in it--while this is not a certainty, its a legitimate fear, so my thought is see somebody before it gets out of hand.
Your feelings are probably spurred by the social conditioning we all experience (the repulsion, conscience) and the primal urge for sex/the bizarre (Id, Eros to use outmoded Freudian terms) on the other hand.
I can't help thinking that something traumatic happened in your life to spark this kind of interest or that there is a lack of a more "normal" (bad word but all I can think of) sexual outlet. Only you can decide however.
As for watching other taboo things, there seems to be a natural tendency for humans to engage in voyeurism while at the same time condemning the practice--ala the victorians (just like your animal porn interest--one part is attracted, the other repulsed). Depending on the "taboo" activity, it may not be so bad--seeing as social taboos are sometimes stupid, but other times very practical. Branding, tattooing, piercing, sex in strange places are all taboo, don't serve too many real social purposes in maintaining the taboo, and wouldn't be all that bad to engage in or watch. On the other hand, incest, murder/mutiliation for pleasure are the opposite.
This is a complicated area, but if it bothers you, then by all means find a professional to help you sort it out.

Do I get turned on by taboo stuff? yeah sometimes.
It's an inbuilt mecanism, sexuality is something that has been taboo for many years. the reason that sexual thoughts are considered 'naughty' is part of this.
As taboos have been blown away over the years, more and more unusual or perverted things have had to be relied upon to provide that 'naughtyness kick'!
You should answer my other question on the aristocrat joke. This joke relies on the shock factor of exposing taboos and exploring the deepes and darkest places within our sexual natures.

I've also run into some exceedingly gnarly stuff. I was at a mates place, he was out, so I kinda mosied around his hard drive and found stuff under 'zoo' that made me want to barf, but I know what you mean. Being repulsive, it does have the effect of being stimulating because you know it's wrong, and wrong always feels good (if you get my thinking).
