Theories such as string theory predict that the space we live in has in fact many more dimensions (frequently 10, 11 or 26), but that the universe measured along these additional dimensions is subatomic in size. As a result, we perceive only the three spatial dimensions that have macroscopic size. While theories that postulate the existence of flows from future to past, as quantic theory does, seem to convey the need for a 5th dimension of time.

You can only imagine with values and material concepts which we have in this world. We cannot picture something that we do not have a concept for. Example we cannot picture something completely spiritual that has nothing to do with the material world.
We cannot imagine what absolute nothing is or means

Its a good question..you see your world with your own perspective and ideas. So i guess people create their own world with their own style. So its not far from imagining a different world. if you have a good friend, you can certainly feel his/her world beyond yours...
