no the public is not so innocent but selfish they know where to act.it is the public who votes on caste basis.it is these so called innocent public make criminals leaders and at the same time burn a innocent girl alive for watever reason.it is the public who gives lectures on morality and elects criminals and pervert people as their leaders so how come politician are responsible for indias backwardness?

Political parties or public alone don't contribute to a country's backwardness.There are many other factors like unemployment,poverty.etc which the public as well as the government should take in to consideration and try to eradicate them together.

Both are equally responsible...politicians fill their pockets with people's money...people do not realise the responsibility as a citizen..they always expect someone else to take the first step..and the irony here is that every person thinks the same way...
