If you are familiar at all with the play "Charley's Aunt", do you think he would have made a good "Aunt"?

He is one of my all time favorite comedians and actors!

a wonderful and gifted man. His unique ability to create nervous tension and anxiety was a delight to watch. While that characteristic was prevalent in Don's characters, no one confuses Ralph Ferely with Barney Fife. Even as a fish, (the incredible Mr Limpet) Don's charm came thru

I'm not familiar with "Charley's Aunt", but I think Don Knotts is hilarious - one of my favorites!

not familiar with "Aunt", but Don Knotts was also one of my favorite comedians...Man on the street, Barney Fife! The Ghost and Mr, Chicken, Mr. Limpet....Deputy Barney fife was his all time best character!!!!!

He was a great actor. From Andy Griffith to Three's Company, the guy made me laugh. I loved him in the Incredible Mr. Limpit.
