You are automatically presuming that the Aliens have come from an Earth type environment. If this is true or not I will come back to in a moment.

You must realize that humans live in conditions ranging from -50C to +50C a spread of 100 C this is not including windchill factors or humidexs. Also must realize that we use clothing and environmentally conditioned structures to live in such climates. Even our own Astronauts use controlled environments to survive.

But back to Earth type planets, the number of planet that can support life is a incredible amount, must realize that there are Billions of planets within our Galaxy alone, and Billions of Galaxies within our Universe, and Billions of Universes in the Multiverse (different levels of diamensons). To say that we humans are the only ones out there is incredibly closed minded.

Also must think that a species that has developed space travel to the level require to transverse between their world and ours is beyond what we can imagine. Thus for odds are that they possess the ability to terraform worlds to their liking. And possess the tech. to develop suits that enabled them to survive in almost any condition.

After all, who says that Mr.ET. comes from an Earth type planet... just maybe it comes from a place where it +80C or -90C, and what we see is not really their skin.. but some form of advanced Astronaut suit.
