You see it's hopeless. Even being politically correct to the best of my ability, I still get insulted.

If you truly don't offend anyone you wouldn't be saying anything, or asking for that matter. I doubt you would be able to ask any truly interesting questions without offending someone.

Are you capable of writing an inoffensive question? If not, then give up.

There are lots of examples of questions that are not offensive (and many that are) in this very system.

(Not knowing anything about your previous questions, that's the best I can suggest.)

To the other answerers, I say, there's a difference between offensive questions and questions to which some nutcase is offended. PC is not an attempt to control people's thoughts, but to get them to stop insulting people and groups of people with ugly epithets and cruel assumptions.

People should be able to engage in discourse without having invective hurled at them.

Politically correct is an oxymoron, it is neither political, nor is it correct. Politically correct grew out of the desire to control people's thinking, and the pluralistic society we live in. Too many people follow the leader and don't think through the absurdity of this idea.
