if not how to find one, i hope you do know
and does anyone have any experience in finding details of a person with almost a little more than nothing to go on..

if you have a name of the person start with summerset house. It gives birth/death/marriage certificates.
Try genes reunited or friends reunited and see if they are on there at all.
Electrol roll - lists people and there known address.
Detectives in london? personally I would google it.
