Yes even i think that your productivity will definitely increase if you have 3 day weekend. Also with just one day or 2 days holiday, the household, bank etc. work does not get completed. no time to spare for family, friends etc.If i have 3 days, i can spare 1day for family,1for friends & 1 for totally my self development.

Sorry, I can't see one of those coming to pass. We can thank the Children of Israel who live in the United States for Saturday being off. Then, of course, the Christians needed equal time, so they got their sabbath day off, which is Sunday.
Up until that time, everyone worked a 7-day week, and children under the age of 6 could not work on a packing line unless they sat on their parents' lap. But that's another story when children were not required to go to school and whole families worked at the same "plant".
Another time.

When you stop and think about it we already a 3 day 'weekend' - how much work gets done on a Friday afternoon, free on Saturday and Sunday, and then most people spend Monday Morning wishing they were some place else, as a result don't get any real work done until the afternoon.

Don't dream of it! Things are changing. Working 24x7 is becoming very common in all industries. Be ready for it!
Fortunately, there is a wonderful business opportunity where you can work 2 or 3 hours in a day, and can earn enourmous money and realise your dreams within 2 to 3 years. Would you like to know about this?

Why stop there. Why not a 7 day week end?
I guess its all about how lazy you are.
Thats the difference between a first world country, and a dump hole like India.
Where do you want to live and how do you want to be recognised?
What do you want for your children?
Get off ur a s s and use your time well.
Earn enough money so you dont need to work.

I'm totally with you on that one.
The only reason that the man hasn't got us working 6 day weeks is because productivity and effectiveness decreases.

In England this should have been brought in 20 years ago to create more jobs to help the unemployment situation.
Of course everyone would have had to agree to lower pay.
Now I am not too sure.
Some people hate to be idle and would take on more than one job.
