Is that how you feel? do you feel that it is a waste of time and that you have to sacrifice something?. Or are you asking? In any case marriage is a vow that you take when you have found someone that you really love and intend to share the rest of your life with, and maybe have a family of your own. Unfortunately these days due to a lack of communication a lot of marriages end up in turmoil, we are forgetting what marriage is all about and what it is suppose to mean.

Absolutely yes. It is the strongest thing that we can do: giving ourselves and sharing our lives with another that makes us one person existing together: and the two shall become one. It is very worth it. Some days you'll want to hit your spouse over the head with an iron skillet, but most days you are glad you have someone to come home to, someone to take care of you and for you to take care of. Always a nice butt around to squeeze. Love and marriage are beautiful. A lot of work, time and sacrifice, but that is just what marriage is: staying loyal when something easier appears. Wouldn't trade it for the whole wide world.

If you think marriage is a sacrifice then you should not be married. Martyrs do not make very good mates. Otherwise, yes it is worth the time.

If the two people that are getting married really love each other and are in it through the long haul, YES it IS WORTH IT! AS long as willing to work on what troubles may come and be there for each other.

In most states they don't allow same sex marriages. So I think you are safe with that question. By the way are you going to a pride march ( just guessing from the clothes you are wearing)?

Don't think it is worth the time, the money, the hassle and the trouble to get into it and/or out of it...
