Any lumber company, and bug box retailers like Lowe's and Home Depot sell Velux products. It is likely that they won't stock the item you need, but any of them will order it for you. Best bet might be your local lumber company. Special order items can be a problem at the big box home improvement retailers. The price will be about the same.

do you mean the long poles you can use to reach up and open/close veluxes which are too high up for you? Because I used to have one and it was nothing special. It was aluminium though, and quite expensive. You can buy a nice brass end filling from B&Q, then put it on the end of a wooden pole of suitable length and hey presto! a perfectly servicable window rod.

There are a couple of companies on ebay who sell them-I have just bought velux blinds from them. Put "velux blinds" into the ebay search.

Try an old folks' home and ask if there are any women who's husbands have just died and who were fisherman. They'll probably give them to you just to see the back of them.
