I could move Delgado from DH to 1st. He has a hyperextended right elbow. Sore and experiencing some swelling in the elbow. Trainer Barry Weinberg said the injury was probably minor. Weinberg said Pujols was feeling soreness when he threw.

The odd thing yesterday was that Pujols still came in as a pinch-hitter. So even though he wasn't a starter for the game the injury wasn't serious enough to keep him from playing. Additionally, the game wasn't that close so why risk using him in a meaningless game? Especially with 2 crucial months to go in the season? I would expect him to be in the starting lineup this week. But you could check out the Cardinals website at mlb.com for further updates.

i would start pujols for sure, at most he'll miss a game, and besides Pujols would do more the whole week playing in one less game thn the guy u would use to replace delgado at DH.

Pujols will not be out long enough for you to take him out of your lineup. He is to good not to be in it.
