My 3 months old hp laptop screen has broken, Can anyone pls advice, how to get it rectified economically ?

If the warrantee covers the broken screen, you are in luck, otherwise the words "laptop" and "economically" do not go together. The LCD screens are expensive, and the process of swapping them is a pain. FInd an authorized HP repair facility.

Check your records. If you bought it new, you got a warranty. You may be able to get it fixed or replaced at no cost.
Even without a written warranty, you may have some leverage. The Uniform Commercial Code applies to product liability. There is the expected warranty of merchantability theory, meaning that the product is supposed to do what it is designed to do for the generally expected amount of time. Ten years is the expected useful life.
If you are a resident of the USA, contact the consumer protection bureau in the state where you live, if you get no satisfaction from the manufacturer, and file a complaint. If no such bureau in your state, contact the state's Attorney General.
Depending on how the computer got damaged, you may also have coverage in your Homeowners' Insurance policy. Example: the computer is in the back of a station wagon. The vehicle gets rearended by another vehicle. You have coverage for vehicle damage to personal property.

I'd call HP before anything, if the laptop is under warranty. Otherwise they will charge you an arm and a leg for a new screen.

How did it break? Did you drop it? Was it your fault? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you're going to have to fork over some money and buy a new laptop.
If you didn't do any of those things, then call the company and find out their policy. Hopefully it's not a Dell, or you're screwed.
