I'll stand up as the proud age-ist I am. What can you possibly have in common with an 18 year old? You are (or should be) at two completely different stages in your life. She can't even legally drink yet. I don't think relationships with that sort of gap at that age are ever really healthy.

Your age is not a problem. Just remember that 18 year old persons are still quite far from being adults. For example their social responsibility is not necessarily yet fully developed. So, sometimes she might seem a bit egoistic or selfish to you. When it happens, don't blame her, just accept it. When you remember this fact, it's easier for you to accept her the way she is: an 18 year old girl. Let her be herself and she will love you for it. Good luck and go for it, I certainly would!

I think that it should be fine as long as she is willing and happy. You must keep the age gap in mind at times, but if that is the only problem, then I'm sure that it can be easily ignored in your relationship. Treat her with respect and care and expecially consider her feelings and any apprehensions she may have. Take care of her.
good luck otherwise!!

Hell at least she is 18 so I at least like that part of it. I think it could work but experience counts as well and interest. If your not into the same things....it could be trouble. Lastly...my parents are 10 years apart and have been together for about 40 years.

Depends on if she is an older 18. I would wonder what you might have in common. You will need to give her time to mature before you expect her to be a true adult. In just a few years she will know more who she is and what she wants. Good Luck

As long as girl doesnt have a prob, no issues.
But due to this age diff, your thinking and her thinking will differ slightly. Its you - who need to adjust your lifestyle and thinking - to match her age person's thinking. But its a small issue. Get ahead and enjoy...
