OH YES!
With its free and equal heathcare for all, its sterling environmental record and leadership over global warming, its shining reputation and history of racial equality, the excellent healthy diet of its citizens, (incidentally whose knowledge of global affairs is second to none) and its peaceful non meddling attitude to the rest of the planet, plus its truly brilliant democracy where a poor hispanic woman can rise to become president without any kind of gladhanding from corrupt big business, and its enviable freedom loving gun culture, Yes, without a doubt the U.S is the best!
Oh and of course its TV.
If I didnt have the misfortune to live in such a backward place like the UK, I'd be on a plane tomorrow, Is it true though that I have to wear an orange jumpsuit to get in?

I am an American, so naturally I'm a bit biased ;), but I have lived all over the world, including europe and the middle east. By far, even with it's problems and sometimes idiotic foreign policies, the USA is the Best of the Best!
By the way, you may want to specify the USA rather than just saying America, because you have Canada as part of North America and also all of South America is America! ;)

I dont think America is the best country, in a lot of ways thats an unrealistic question. Every developed country has similar freedoms and they all have a problem with illegal emmigrants. Perhaps you just havent heard that in US media but its true. As far as I can see most of the positive answers you have recieved have been from Americans. I actually dont think it is the best place to live and generally, amongst Europeans and other Nationalities I have known, the USA is not envied at all. There was a poll in one of the newspapers (not and Irish paper) who stated that the Republic of Ireland was actually the best, based on quality of life and many other factors. I am not from the Rep of Ireland and I dont live there. Just thought you might like to know. Many Americans I have met travelling in Europe have told me they hate America and dont want to go home.

No. besides the actuality that the lines between third international and not third international are ultimate through technologies. third international countries frequently have cellular telephones and computers now. And further and extra jobs are outsourced to them. yet while there's a line between first international and third international, united states of america is maximum actually first international. There are undesirable factors of the country, it has continuously been like that. and those undesirable factors have just about continuously been blacks and modern-day immigrants. yet even the worst factors of the U. S. are greater advantageous off than third international countries. how a lot of human beings on your community die from starvation? no longer malnutrition... starvation? what number die from very bodily obtrusive illnesses that ought to be cured for a $3 prescription of penicillin?

Our system here in the USA does not always work the best. This system is not perfect but its the best in the world by far. That's the reason all these people will Jump fences or swim from Cuba to get here. Proof is in the pudding.

Yes, the USA is the best country in every way. Anyone who does not agree should try living where it is not so great: North Korea, Iran, Iraq, just about anywhere in Africa.

I like my own country best but the US is right up there. I am glad Iran or Zimbabwe are not the most powerful nations on Earth.
