Perry McCarthy is widely reckoned to be the old Stig. I think it's entirely possibe that Damon Hill is the new Stig. Check out wikipedia

rcwr440 is wrong by the way. My dad saw the Stig backstage when he got audience tickets once, and when the Stig took off his helmet to eat ... he was wearing a balaclava underneath. The audience never see the real Stig, so a photo revealing the identity of the Stig posted on the net would be set up - a fake in other words

I tried to look this up a couple of weeks ago on the Internet. I couldn't find out who it was.
The only reason I could find why Damon Hill got mentioned was due to him living near the training track.
So unfortunately I am none the wiser.
I am thinking of kidnapping Richard Hammond and holding him prisoner until he tells me. lol
OK I fancy Richard Hammond but it is a good excuse to spend some time with him.
I like Richard Hammond on Braniacs. :)

i dont know but i just pray that one day he is unveiled! it drives me crazy not knowing who he is, did u see top gear last night when hammond tipped his van? i peed myself laughing
