I'd like to see Bill Maher take this on. He's intelligent and informed. And he's funny. Even if the candidates did the usual two-step, I think Bill would keep it light and entertaining.

I would like to see Chelsea Handler interview the candidates.
Seriously, though, the "debates" we have are a joke. They are really just glorified press conferences. We need to have REAL debates, like the Greek orators of old practiced them. They would be marathon sessions lasting days, where the candidates would actually DEBATE in the classical Greek way, and the debates would last for DAYS, not just a few hours. I'm sure CSPAN would have no reservations about airing such proceedings.

The problem is not the interviewer or the moderator. We must have real debates-not rehearsed questions that are pre-approved be the candidates.

Most people hate him, but Bill O'Reilly. He is truly one of the few interviewers that actually keeps people on topic, and calls people out when they try to change topics. Most people are getting sick and tired of politician lies, and I think most people are also paying attention to politics at a younger age now.
Someone like O'Reilly, unfortunately I'm not sure of another, but anyone willing to interupt or call people out when they begin the all infamous "spin".

I vote for Cornfunkel. Seeing how she is currently suspended, she might have the time for it and I KNOW she could come up with just the right questions to see how the candidates respond under pressure.

Children should ask the questions. They ask more honest questions. Not to mention, they have no political motivations, unless its to stay up past their bedtime.
