can lifeguards swim where ever they want at their own risk?

in a state owned lake, if i am a certified lifeguard, can i swim where i like at my own risk?

No - if the state owns it, they can dictate whether or not swimming is allowed in places or not at all. It doesn't matter if you are a lifeguard or joe schmo, they own it and they set the rules.
