I think jewellery always goes down well, if she wears it. You can choose between fun, inexpensive things - or go mad and buy something expensive and special. Does she have pierced ears? If so, earrings for pierced ears in gold or stainless steel (so they don't make her come out in a rash) would be nice. Or perhaps a necklace in her favourite colour.

Favourite perfume or flowers - traditional
Make a cd up of her favourite songs - romantic, thoughtful and cheap!
Do both and she'll think your great,
add in a meal out at her favourite restaurant and you will be up there on the perfect boyfriend listing!
