I 'm studying English now. I live in Japan now. After a party my English teacher said to me "cuddle?" ,and he gave me a quick hug. I'm marrried. He's married, too. we dont't have such customs in my countory. I'm really confused.
Do people who speak English use the word "cuddle" ,when they say good bye ?
Is he just friendly or ? What do you think he was up to?

its not normal in any culture for the teacher to cuddle a student of the opposite sex, but since the environment must be informal he may have done so out of enjoying the atmosphere but if he does it again check out his intentions

Close friends will do that sometimes, but it's not right for your teacher to have done. He may have had too good a time at the party. If he does it again, report him.
