Ok honey read my first answer.
Next thing is to sit down and tell the kids that it just aint gonna happen!
Kids need love, sure, but what everyone forgets is that they need certainty as well. If they see you crumble every time he opens his gob they will begin to doubt you.
Be absolutely resolute - and I MEAN absolutely!!
The kids stay with you full stop. Incidentally, if the moron sees that you mean it he will stop using that weapon against you.

sounds like you are trying to do the right thing.
since he is being funny/arguing in front of the kids with you is there a neutral place where you can exchange the kids ie you drop them off at grans and he collects them from there - if he doesn't see you he can't argue with you!
Make sure the kids know that it is ok to enjoy spending time with their dad.

Good luck x x

I take it he doesn't feel the same about arguing in from of the kids??? Why don't you try writing a letter, suggesting that for the sake of the children, you come to some agreement? You might need some sort of mediation - speak to your citizen's advice bureau and see if they can help you.
Parents who mess with their kid's minds scar them for life.
