batteries lose their charge also by an internal discharge process, even if the laptop is connected all day long. from a certain point, lets say around 99% of full charge, a recharge start and this is what reduces the life of the battery.
it's much better to remove the battery when using the laptop connected all the time. however, it's recommended to run the laptop on battery for a full decharge/recharge cycle once every 2 weeks.

I have laptops that run, plugged in, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If the battery gets weak, I will replace it, but it has not been a problem.

Povided it is in a well ventialted place it should be ok.
Having any piece of electrical equipment in high temperatures will slash the life of the battery considerably. So leave it near a desk fan or a window (obviously not a ground floor one!!)

yes it is reduced but not because you use it continually the batterys on laptops just suck
its fine to leave it pluged in all day

you only drain the battery the first 3 times...then it could stay fully charge all the time.
