The letter didn't hurt your feelings. Your reactions to the letter hurt you feelings.
Hurt feelings are not actual "things". In fact, hurt feelings are merely perceptions of a memory or a disappointment.
So, re-read the letter with a more pragmatic point of view. If nothing can be changed, throw the letter away and forget about it.
If you want something to change, then you will need to change something in yourself or your environment. Because you can't change other people. Unless, of course, you're Criss Angel....Mindfreak!
Seriously though....Change how you look at the words written in the letter. Change how you perceive the words' meanings. Change the regard or disregard in which you hold the person who wrote the letter.
The your feelings won't hurt anymore.

Ur best friend....right??? See u have chosen her as ur best friend...there's a reason 4 it....she must be close to u.Now she has written this letter 4 a reason, just ask her the reason.See she's ur best friend don't hesitate to do this......And if she hurt u then tell her politely that it hurt me.Don't be rude.....Just pick up the phone tell her to meet u and then explain her the situation.Don't tell her on the phone coz then u'll not come to know whether she understood or not....only a true friend can understand a true friend...i am sure this will work...
ALL THE BEST
TAKE CARE

If hes ur best friend then make him understand that the letter he wrote hurted u a lot and u didnt expect this atleast from him. If he apologizes then nothing like it ur friendship remains unharmed. But if he doesn't then try avoiding him for a few days may me he needs time to realize his mistake, and he will himself communicate with you to say u a word of sorry. Still if he doesn't turn up then you can yourself know that he was never your best friend and just acting to be one, because friends dont ever hurt they always heal. So dont worry even if you loose this friend of yours you will surely find a good friend than this who takes care of ur feelings.
I hope my suggestion works and if it does then do mail me back I'll be happy if you guys patch up again.
My mail address is rahul_khanna22_in@yahoo.com
Bye take care. . . .

See do not give much thought to it.There are much things in your life that are more enjoyable and there are much more people who care about you.See maybe your friends intentions was to hurt you and by you being hurt she is considering herself successful. Try to enjoy life to the fullest as life is short and there is more to life than a single friend or a single letter.

If this person is truly your BF; communicate what you've just written by picking up the telephone and telling this person how your feelings have been hurt!
How is this person going to know they hurt your feeling unless you open up and tell them!
Reach out...touch your BF today by picking up the telephone or making a luncheon date and tell them!

Know the reason.. I don't think he/she would write such letter for noreason at all.. If she'he is really your friend, they would talk to you, face to face and point out your mistakes and would hear out your side.. Invite them them go out of if you wanted it to be more personal and serious, go to his/her house and talk.. Avoid shouting and talking while one is still talking.. It would end up with misunderstanding..

Tell your friend and ask her/him why they did it. It will only make things worse if you try to bottle them up.
